Dogs with sensitive intestines also have nice and hard stools with Recovery, the amount is small because there is a high degree of absorption and digestibility.

At Faunus we consciously choose to work with a protein level that is not too high, because this is really unnecessary for optimal dog health. Higher protein levels can actually increase the risk of sensitivity and allergy. However, it is very important to ensure that the protein sources are of very high quality and have a high biological value. It is also very important to work with really pure and good fats. That is why we always opt for pure beef fat.
In Recovery the first ingredient is chicken, which is a high-quality and easily absorbed protein source. Together with the pure beef fat, the meat meal, the hemoglobin powder and the eggs, this is a formula with a very high percentage of protein of animal origin.
The oatmeal in this formula contains beta glucan, a soluble fiber that quickly gives satiety.
What distinguishes Recovery from most other foods is the high fat content and the use of high-quality fats.
The pure salmon oil makes your dog’s coat shine like a mirror.
Coconut fat has many special qualities. Coconut fat (it only becomes oil from 24 °) has an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral effect. It ensures that vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients are better absorbed. It has positive effects on skin, fur, digestion and thyroid gland. The lauric acid in coconut fat can kill bacteria, viruses and fungi, preventing infections. Coconut fat promotes metabolism and strengthens the immune system.
Pure beef fat is an excellent and stable source of fat.
Carob flour contains polyphenols that are powerful antioxidants that protect the dog’s body against damage caused by free radicals and toxins. It is also rich in calcium which keeps the bones strong, and selenium that protects the body against infections.
The hemoglobin powder provides strong resistance.
Inulin improves the absorption of magnesium and calcium, and has a beneficial effect on intestinal health and digestion.
The NON-GMO (genetically modified) maize in this formula contains useful minerals such as potassium, sodium, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus and manganese.
The most important vitamins in corn are thiamin, pantothenic acid, niacin, folic acid and vitamin C.
The NON-GMO wheat also provides vitamins and minerals and stimulates the intestinal function. Together with rice and corn, this wheat provides the necessary carbohydrates.
